DTS, who do you think actually wrote this for him? Karen Hughes?
When he starts a speech with, "Now that my daughters have taken my advice and enlisted in the military" I'll be interested in listening to him talk about sacrifice. Interesting to read in terms of what he wants. If he couldn't get a line-item veto with a Repub congress, I don't know why he thinks the Dems will give him one.
