Great writeup, Don Guido. I can assure you that there is no grand strategy to, as you put it, lull everyone to sleep. Simple fact is that I haven't been able to handicap my way out of a paper bag recently. I've had a long string of "if only's" and "coulda, woulda, shudas". In the points contest, I have found myself trying to fight the linemaker, and each time the linemaker has won.
My only hope is that all of these symptoms will have magically gone away [yeah, right] in time for the BC, when more serious money is on the line.
