Yes indeed I am well familiar with that song
as I have been a country music fan for a long time
with my favorites being

GARTH BROOKS
VERN GOSDEN
CONWAY TWITTY
MERLE HAGGARD
DIXIE CHICKS
EMMY LU HARRIS
DOLLY
BROOKS + DUNN
I like all those, but would have to add a few to your list:

Waylon
Willie
Ronnie Millsap
Glen Campbell
George Strait
George Jones
Allison Krause
Alan Jackson
Jennifer Nettles(Sugarland)
Bill Munroe
Ricky Skaggs

and probably many more that I'm not even thinking of.

To tell you the truth, my own taste in music is pretty wide ranging. Country, Rock, Classical, music from different eras like Big Band, Jazz, Broadway, Movies. You name it, I'm a fan of everything except maybe Kabuki and Rap.

With all due respect
I must admit I can’t stand any of those
{Big Band + Jazz }

I firmly believe in the concept of
*** To each our own {in all things}

That is what makes the world interesting
How boring it would be if everybody liked the same stuff

Jazz and Rap absolutely shred my nervous system!!!
I would have to leave the room if they were playing

It’s kind of the same thing about my love of ANCHOVIES

There are people that wouldn’t touch a pizza
if my anchovy was even close to their piece

I get it all goes back to
TO EACH OUR OWN

Or in that case with the pizza and the anchovies
TO EAT OUR OWN

Saw John Prine last June. It was fantastic, played a lot of material from his 2018 release Tree of Forgiveness. I really hope he can beat this. Here is an update on RS:
