But with a lot of luck "Back on Top in June"???

I can see a new "band" in the making.

I hope someone sings better than me. My singing is sort of like a bullfrog croaking.

On another subject, is anyone seeing much of an impact from the Corona Virus where they live? I woke up early today and my cupboard was getting a bit bare, so I went to the super market to replenish. It was about 7. I pretty much had the place to myself. Couldn't see any evidence of panic buying, but Arkansas, so far, hasn't reported any cases of the virus. Sometimes it's good to live off the beaten path. Wish it would stay that way, but just like electricity and indoor toilets, everything eventually makes it to even the most backwater places. Wondering how much of a crowd Oaklawn will have this weekend with all the info on TV and the internet about the virus. Hopefully, it won't come to my house. I am in the high risk group, but I am also a semi-hermit so that is maybe working in my behalf. No trip to Vegas this year.

I think the first death in New Jersey was reported today. Supermarkets around here are still well stocked but I don't live in an urban urban area. The only change I see so far are schools preparing for the worst. I did see today that the Ivy League canceled their post season championships. If things do indeed get worse the sporting world might be greatly affected.

Connecticut has had 4 reported cases so far, 2 of which pertain to residents of New York State who work in CT hospitals. State officials have tried to be proactive, offering common sense precautions for people to take and advising of facilities that are available for any who demonstrate symptoms.

We have a large number of colleges and universities in this state, and many of them have been taking active steps. Several started their spring breaks several days early, and a few others have started to conduct their classes online. The AAC Women's basketball championship was conducted at the Mohegan Sun this past weekend, and attendance appeared to be about normal. So far, the UConn officials have announced that their basketball teams will travel to any post season tournaments to which they are invited [of course, they charter, so that is easier].

The Ivy League, however, has just announced that their conference tournament is cancelled, so Yale will receive the NCAA automatic bid rather than the customary tournament winner.

Several cities have cancelled their traditional St. Patrick's Day parades.

The local TV station has shown some footage of Bradley International Airport, and it looks like a ghost town except for the tumbleweed.
