Unfortunately, it becomes all too logical to me when using the rearview mirror which generally results in a self administered mental beat down of Mike Tyson proportions, but what choice do we have, but to keep on trucking, although sometimes it feels like trudging.

I very seldom see things in a race that are illogical. It seems like there are usually reasons for everything that happens in a race to me, but I think sometimes things happen that are less logical. For example, sometimes you see a race and you think, how could that horse win this race because his or her speed figures just don't indicate they have the ability, but sometimes that all depends on who made the figs. I usually rely on brisnet figs because you can get the free ones so easily,
but sometimes there is a vast difference in those figs and those provided by DRF.

RQ you said that you sometimes “jump the gun.” I think that is what I did with my post, but now that I’ve had more time to think, I realize there is plenty of chaos in a lot of races if you think about all the bad things that can happen at the break like the bobbling, bumping, stumbling and also things that can happen during the race like checking, steadying, being blocked, being carried out, etc. So all this to say you were right about the chaos in races. It can hurt you, but sometimes even give you a bigger score than you otherwise would have gotten.
