![]() I hope Mott runs Hofburg in the Woodward. I know its unlikely, but the probable in the DRF article are not good.

In fantasy land, I would like to think that City of Light will run in both the Forego and the Woodward (you know, like Forego himself might have done), but he's not nominated to the latter and this is 2018. |

![]() Can someone tell me if my memory is totally gone ? Didn't the second race on Travers day used to be the most stacked maiden baby race of the meet ?

![]() Really good wagering card Saturday.....
In the Travers I kind of like Bravazo,he reminds of another late developing DWL 3yo...….Will Take Charge. The Lukas program......build a durable horse, see if they get good. Maybe Bravazo can duplicate Will Take Charge and take down the Travers. The one horse I've been waiting for on the return is Wow Cat for Chad. In her North American opener she just wouldn't pay attention in the lane. She was looking all around, had very little interest in finishing up her race. It wouldn't surprise me if some type of blinker or shadow roll was in use on her Saturday. Plus......a late gate scratch really changed the pace dynamic in the Shuvee. Farrell really cashed in crawling up front. Rollo brings up a good question about City of Light,it seems like the Woodward has more pluses for City of Light......two turn Gr.1/150k more purse wise. All I can figure is the BC Dirt Mile is one turn this year, which fits City of Light like a glove......and the Forego is a win and you're in for the Dirt Mile. So the 7f Forego is probably a good deal for him. FWIW....DMR cards the POB Saturday,a Grade 2 going 7 furlongs. The Pat O'Brien purse is 400k less, and and much stronger than the Forego. Running in the POB...…...two Breeders Cup winners from last year,a double Gr. 1 winner sprinting @ DMR......and the biggest steam horse going in the 8-5 ml favorite Catalina Cruiser. The connections certainly were wise to flee California. Last edited by taxicab : 08-24-2018 at 01:53 AM. |

![]() The card is spectacular. Great job by NYRA bringing the best together for Travers Day. No excuse to not score today with a couple of good opinions.

Im boxing 3,5,7,8 in triples and exactas. Big doubles those with 5,10. Big score hunting. Betting the 8 to win also at these odds. |
