True but Mendy was the victim. The bumping continued for about a 1/6th. Hope they at least fine the jock. He clearly had no control of his horse. Could have been much worse had someone fallen. Doesn't matter or help the betters though.

Great read. If Mendelssohn does come back for the BC Classic, it will be interesting to see if they have him ready to break aggressively after racing this summer on grass (I assume). I suppose the Classic isn't quite the free for all that the Derby is.
