![]() Just noticed my mistake above. Midnight's Fantasy ran in Race 2 - not Race 4. So nothing for me selecting Midnight's Fantasy today.

![]() If anyone wants to voice their opinion please do. Our rule has always been a bet should be made as if you were at the tellers window. No teller accepts names, only numbers so my feeling is that NJ Stinks wager in the 4th counts. I am only basing this on the way we have done things in the past. To me names are irrelevant.

![]() Interesting, NJ said that nothing bet on Midnight's Fantasy was a good bet basically, yet I agree with you RQ that if he went to a window and gave a horses name the teller, the teller would say what # please and he'd give the # of the horse to the teller. On the other hand NJ has been playing with us for awhile and he should know by now not to use a horses name for any reason and his wager on race 4 is a good example of why . . . confusion.
CONSIDERATION TO ALL: anyone and all reading this please try not to use any horse names when betting anymore, everyone please . . . whether you like the name, or think it's cute or it's the same name reminds you of you first husband or uncle Bill, or it's the great grandson of your favorite sire/dam. Names don't matter in a wager. If you must let all of us know why you licked a horse that matches any or all and more of the reasons above (if you must), make a separate post and call it "My Names for the Day". That way we can either ignore it or read it if we a so inclined. Follow our rules please and make your wagers just like you would do at a teller's window at the track. THANK YOU!: Even though he did not want to bet on the 4 in race 4, that was his bet by the # and therefore playing like our rules state, his bet on the 4 in race 4 is to be accepted. And the 4 horse paid 13.60 to win. I mean, it's not real money but . . . What the hey it was St Paddy's Day, BTW is NJ and Irishman anyway. That's almost a limerick don't ya say. ![]() ![]() ![]() And now I'll get off of my Irish moss green soap box. ![]()
