Steve, I haven't really paid attention to the details, but I notice in the layout that the track has lights on them. Is this really going to happen with the lights and possible night racing?

Yes.. NYRA wants it. Assembly has passed their bill for it and the Legislature will be getting to it.

Steve thanks for carrying the live press conference on ATR this morning. As a long time Islanders fan, I am thrilled with the development. Living here in PA, I used get up to Uniondale for about 4-5 games a year. I have never been to Barclay's for a game and won't go. I would always stay at the Marriott next door to the Coliseum. This project at Belmont will be great for NYRA. As was discussed today, the Arena will hold 18K. The Isles will fill 41 nights with 109 more events during the year. Initial proposal is for 150 events per year. There will be a full shopping district with restaurants, Bars, and what not. Also, with the LIRR making Belmont a permanent stop, also with the addition of a hotel on-site, it's a win-win-win all around! Belmont Park will truly be THEE destination spot.
