He swapped leads very late, more than likely because he was tired.

I am glad he's now earned his way back into the race, but I'd never bet him at 9/2 or so.

Do you think by switching leads he took weight off of that suspect foot?

there is the concept of the Memory of the pain that may have caused him to mis-run..on the wrong lead

could it be he was tired because it was his first race back and not that he can't handle the distance?

I'd much rather key Gunnevera & Lookin at Lee ( if he makes the gate ) in the 2nd-4th slots of the superfecta than I would key Classic Empire in the top 4 slots.

Even if it 'chalks out' this year, you're getting paaaaaaiiiid like Mr Shickadance was promised by Ace.
