Given my past success (or lack thereof) in wagering at Turfway, I probably would do better to take my C note and go to the Jack Cincinnati Casino (the sponsor of this year's Spiral) and put it on the wheel. Their motto must be ,"when you leave, you won't have Jack."

But, since they won't accept Guido dollars, I guess I need to make my play here, so here goes:

$20 Exacta: 3,6 // 1 ($40)

As an aside, the winner of the Spiral will get 50 Derby qualifying points and therefore be virtually assured a place in the starting gate. What is the over/under of the odds in the Derby of whoever happens to win this race? I'd put it at no less than 30-1.
