The obituary that I read on Donald Patrick Joseph indicates that he had two great grandsons. One's name is Cole Edward and the other is Elijah Patrick. I thought I remembered him posting about the birth of Cole Edward and I looked back and found the post. I think this is the child in his avatar. If it's true and DJ(Bigrun) is gone, I am sorry for his family and for his friends here at Derby Trail. I will miss the friendly competition he and I had in contests and I will miss his cartoons in the politics section.

I certainly have had my bouts with DJ as we clearly did not see eye to eye on political issues, but I really hope that the obituary is not his. If so, it is very sad news to hear and wish to extend my condolences to his family and friends.

That obituary was DJ
As i previously mentioned he asked me to do his Delmar contest picks for the last week of the contest. Well, earlier i logged into the Delmar site and his profile information is a match with the birthday in the obituary. 83 years old retired Air Force, a good man.
