Also about the Aqueduct Ninth : Eric Cancel almost went down on the far turn. At first, it looked as if he got sawed off by a 99-1 shot that was backing up as he cut into the turn, but in fact, his mount did not get good traction while leaning into the turn and almost lost his feet.

We have heard several prattles that Cancel is just not able to read the races on the turf and this was another example. He should have been off the rail with that horse (no bet from me, just in the wrong position if he had that kind of run).
