Sunday was definitely a much tougher day than Saturday, as the number of players with a perfect show streak was cut almost in half, from 2,476 to 1,289. The number of people who had back-to-back winners fell all the way from 1,874 all the way down to 190. I was lucky that my pick in the nightcap won his win photo, so I am one of the 190. It's still very early though, during the winter meet only two players made it through the first 19 days of the meet without missing. I fully expect at some point that a huge favorite will finish off the board, and that will thin the field considerably if it happens.

Race 2

Good luck!

Even though my pick for yesterday didn't win, he did at least finish third to keep the show streak alive although I fell in the standings from 133 to 678. Despite yesterday being very formful, the number of show streaks went from 1,289 down to 920. I think that by the end that number will be far lower still, probably single digits.

We both advanced today, ranger. I inherited the fav, Toomanytomatoes, when my pick scratched and it finished 2nd, giving me my 2nd place. Maybe I'll start trying to pick horses that finish 2nd. ;<)
