I have never done karaoke...and never will. Cannot sing worth a damn.

I love that song, loved patsy cline...even tho she was long gone by the time I was born.
Willie was/is a fabulous songwriter.

I was singled out in 4th grade Music class by my teacher for being a terrible singer. Has not stopped me from my love of karaoke.

My husband was unwillingly dragged to a Willie Nelson concert by his dad and said it was one of the top 5 concerts he's ever been to. Said Nelson is sensational live.

Does government paying folks not to grow crops constitute "Farm Aid"?

We have higher numbers than ever of hungry kids.....and we pay people not to grow food. How in the hell does that make sense????
We can't afford food stamps, but we can afford that?!

It's a little more complicated than farmers being paid not to farm:

The problem, of course, is people who figure out how to game the system, but the concept itself is to keep farmers in business so they keep growing the food we keep eating.

Rand Paul favors legalization, right? Or does he support legalization of it but not taxation?

I read Colorado has to vote on whether to put the surplus pot tax money into education or give it back to the public. As the average payback will be between $6 and $16 per person, I hope they do the right thing and put it in education.
