also, Repent, you have been a bust at life. You try to compare Brady Quinn and Tim Couch, be they have absolutely no similarities whatsoever!

Brady Quinns 35 passing tds compared to 5 ints is no reason why he was up for the Heisman, it was strictly because of the media!!

LOL AT THIS FOOL REPENT!

yeah thats great dude.
im a bust at life b/c I dont believe Brady Quinn is going to be a good NFL QB.
ok,
that makes sense.

Leak will be a good NFL QB.
so what if Quinn broke ND's passing records.
he is in a QB friendly offensive system.
so he put up better numbers than Ron Powlus or Rick Meirer.
big freaking deal.
those are 2 all time greats for sure.

time will tell.
actually Couch probably enjoyed a higher level of success at the pro level than Quinn ever will.
I was probably being too optimistic.
think Dan McGuire instead.

thats fine.
thats your opinion, and you are more than entitled to it.
but its not some type of certainty like the author of this thread would have us believe.

I say it is QB friendly, at least from the point of putting up good stats.
I say he flops at the next level.
hope ND fans have fun in May or whenever the draft is.
b/c thats going to be the high point of his NFL career.

I think what Troy Smith was saying was that Brady Quinn is a better quarterback in the traditional sense. Probably better as a drop back, stay in the pocket type and maybe has a better sense of how to read defenses and such. But make no mistake about it. Troy Smith is the better football player. He's one of those guys that makes things happen. It's similar to Vince Young vs. Matt Leinart.

You people saying he will bust are completely biased. It all depends on the situation he gets put into. Trent dilfer won a super bowl, trent dilfer now. Brady quinn has a great deal of talent and with the right team he will be fine. Don't pronounce judgement until he gets a full year in.

Don't tell me what to do. He's going to fail.
