get your state to do what az did, and cali is doing with how their districts are drawn up, thus avoiding getrymandering. It was a great scotus ruling, all the states should take that gift given and do something with it.

Looks like they and those that own them have checkmated the system. From here we devolve into a third world where the victims will be villanized by those owning the media. But the flames will continue to be fanned for faux fight between the left and right ; white and black because we the people are not deep thinking enough to think through the headlines.

I had the good fortune to be reminded of this wonderful writing by the father of our constitution. Theres an article about the gentleman from virginia, wondering why he has no memorial...i disagree, our constitution is a great memorial to a great statesman. I think paragraph 4 is especially helpful in the current discussion regarding ssm and the assertions by some that people should be granted leave to discriminate due to their sincerely held religious beliefs (the discussion regarding this particular sin being their sole, sudden focus regarding marriagability is a whole other subject)....the specific part is about a third of the way down, where the sentence begins 'whilst we assert for ourselves....'
paragraph 8 also.....heck, a lot of it applies to so much regarding this subject of religion and its being foisted on us in the public square
