How exactly does having 2 fast skaters answer the fact that this team couldn't shut down Tampa all season, regardless of what point in time that may have been?

Saying that you "have fast skaters too" as an answer as to you are going to control Tampa's speed is laughable. The Lightning were down 3 starting defense at most points during that stretch, and still managed to keep the Rangers impotent.

Good Luck Joey, ought to be an enjoyable series

"All season" = 3 games in the first two months. Sorry if I don't think that's an overwhelming sample size to say the Lightning are going to skate circles around the Rangers.

Our best defenseman missed two of those games too and the Rangers are very clearly much better than they showed early in the season. Like I said, I always thought the Lightning were the other Cup contender in the East. I just think it's funny that you were crossing your fingers hoping you'd get to face the Presidents' Trophy winners based off of 3 games in November.

Better hope Grunder doesn't show up. Someone's gonna need to hit a pick 6 to cover drinks for that crew.

Oof, disastrous 3rd period. Johnson is gonna be a superstar with a super punchable face. Nice of Marty to hand his old homies a 3-on-5 goal early on too.

I trust the Rangers to win at least one in Tampa. But if they don't I'm blaming knicks for the uberjinx.
