Jockey gets cheeky

Blake Shinn tried his pants off on on Miss Royale to win the opening race at Canterbury on Thursday. Literally.

Shinn's pants fell down in the dash down the straight, resulting in the Melbourne Cup-winning jockey giving most of his rivals the bum steer as Miss Royale finished second behind Defender.

“I usually come here and stay focused in search of winners. People wouldn’t know I’m that cheeky,” Shinn said leaving the crowd laughing before Sky Channel’s Richard Haynes told him to “go and debrief with your owners” leaving oncourse patrons barely able to talk.
