On a bet like the Rainbow 6 which requires 1 winner they really need to grant a refund on a late scratch. Moving to the favorite when alot of people already have the favorite covered really ****s the bettor. When the favorite wins in this situation you immediately are in a position of having no chance to win the entire pot.
