If any of u guys are betting on this is the Tomlinson rating for the distance going to scare u off? For instance the number for ocean knight isn't very high. What u guys think? For instance I lick imperia but his number isn't very high. Any thoughts are appreciated. Not looking to bet big just for fun and to follow a couple of horses

Seems like a router to me. I'd be more concerned about experience and ability.

Ocean Knight will get the Derby distance (Cuz I say so). Planning to key him as well as Texas Red and Prospect Park in exactas.I dont think u will get 50/1 on him ,but I will take it if I do. I do think that 50/1 or better will b had on Prospect Park and I will take some of that.
Going to avoid Dortmund,American Pharoah,Upstart,Frosted.May have developed too fast although Pharoah may have lucked out by missing BC Juvenile. Maybe the rest could ultimately pay dividends. Its all about value if u r going to bet the future pool, so I will include Mr. Z and Far Right due to ridiculous odds vs. potential.

50-1 on Prospect Park ? he'll be half that. that field he dusted included a hoss the boss loved, whose name escapes me at this time.

I remember people used to go by Dosage and Dosage Index. Horses starting winning the derby without the numbers and then a year later the numbers fit. They had adjusted them.

I'm thinking I'll be lucky if 50% of my bets even RUN in the Derby. Last year
I only had 1 of 7 run.

Well 50/1 is my cutoff point in future betting. I passed on Ca Chrome at 30/1 last year(did key in exactas though)..That 30/1 sure looked good on Derby day though.Of course Cal Chrome had won a pair of CA bred stakes at this stage of the game.

the hoss was named the Gomper. Like the Rolling Stones classic song Gomper. Brian Jones really shines, playing multiple instruments on the track. Awesome psychedelic stuff.

I know that the usual time for the close of betting is 6pm, but I can't find that anywhere in this year's rules. Can anyone confirm?

Okay, I found a couple of sources (DRF and Forbes.com) that say betting ends at 6pm.
