Weren't there a couple of decent Blames early in the year? I thought there was some hype on his first couple of runners.

I'm sure you were only kidding but I don't think Blame's performance as a sire will have much impact on Zenyatta's legacy.
There were a couple Blame two year olds that looked pretty good. But the vast majority did not look good at all.
Based on race career, it's tough to predict who will be a good sire. A couple of the best sires right now are Tapit and Malibu Moon. Tapit won a few races but overall he didn't accomplish all that much on the track. I think he only ran about 5 times total. Malibu Moon only ran twice. I don't think too many people would have predicted that either one of those would be star sires.
If you would have asked me who was going to be better between Eskenderaya and Super Saver, I would have said Eskenderaya. I thought he was a much better horse than Super Saver. But after the first few two year old sales this year, then I had the opposite opinion. There were a lot of Super Saver two year olds that looked like they could really run. Most of the Eskenderayas looked awful and that has pretty much panned out on the track so far.
