well this could actually turn out to be a good thing. here is my plan.

you send another drop of "weapons" to our friends on the ground. (they are actually toy guns). nobody will know from 10 thousand feet.

you have a few attack aircraft following about 3 minutes behind the drop aircraft. we accidentally overshoot the drop zone, knowing that the be-headers will come out to get the weapons.

when they do, BAM!!!! with the attack air!!!


or i think the use of a small nuke would do the trick.
