The Feds are responsible for international flights...but lets blame it on Texas and their lack of true sovereignty due to a reckless, anti-constitution federal government.

Can't secure our borders for the one of many surprises that will be revealed after mid-terms from the most transparent administration in the history of mankind.

Just completely disregard Texas' inability to protect its borders and the mass immigration problems it faces.

Also completely disregard Houston has one of, if not THE BEST, cancer centers in the United States.

If Texas had true sovereignty they would be far better off than the idiots in our Federal government. People who defend it are the worst people in this country and deserve no rights.

texas leads the country in uninsured citizens.
we have the most expensive medical care in the world, but rank 37th for delivery of that care.
ebola gets headlines, but let's talk about how many thousands of citizens would be saved by having proper medical coverage. fat lot of good top hospitals and doctors do, when people can't be seen to receive care.

That is a fantasy.

Let's see any of those countries with socialized medicine keep it going for 100 years.

It's unsustainable. Someone has to pay for it. Period.

Europe is in shambles. They can only hide the lie for another decade or so.

We will see the fall of western civilization in our lifetime. Both sides of the political aisle is complicit.

2nd Texas health worker tests positive for Ebola; CDC says she flew home before falling ill - they are now trying to get in touch with everyone that was on the airplane.

http://www.startribune.com/lifestyle...279249822.html

Keep dreaming that "They" have a fuc1<ing clue what to do. That "They" know how this is and isn't transmitted. That "They" know how long the incubation period is, and whether or not it can be passed on even though the carrier isn't showing symptoms. That "They" know for a fact that this only survives in bodily fluids and won't live long outside of a host.

they do know how it's transmitted, that it can't be transmitted thru casual contact.
that's why i'm surprised so many people are going nuts about this.

Dr. Tom Frieden, director for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), said during a telephone press briefing Wednesday that you cannot get Ebola by sitting next to someone on a bus, but that infected or exposed persons should not ride public transportation because they could transmit the disease to someone else.
Think we need a new CDC director!

You keep trumpeting this over and over like it is etched in stone somewhere.

There are NO absolutes. What they know about this virus changes hourly.

>>>Ebola is airborne, according to a new report by the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP) at the University of Minnesota. Researchers at the university just advised the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) that “scientific and epidemiologic evidence” now exists that proves Ebola has the potential to be transmitted via exhaled breath and “infectious aerosol particles.”<<<

i'm sorry that i'm trying to point out calmly that all this hysteria is, frankly, unwarranted.
but, by all means, have at it.

years ago, I was on a charter coming back from overseas, when we landed htey kept us on the plane . finally after an hour they came on board with stacks of paper and announced there was a "possible" TB carrier 2 rows behind me. Not to worry, go to your DR and get tested. It really gets your attention.

You don't take any chances with something that has a 50-70% kill rate.

That's just insanity. All for a make believe economy that's so fragile it can't withstand a shutdown for the possible sake of HUMANITY.

Sick society we've built...on greed. Perpetuated by radical idiots atm.

but tb can be transmitted a lot easier than ebola. they said she didn't vomit or bleed on the flight, and unlike tb it isn't airborne.
