![]() It does appear he liked our most dirt-like synthetic surface (Cushion) more than the others. I was surprised that he didn't do better in the Lewis Stakes. I'm sure he got an o.k. figure from it, but he looked very tired. It was surprising because Joe was sure he had turned the corner (with the addition of blinkers.) He expected to romp in that Lewis Race. Before that race, I sure didn't hear Joe say anything about him not liking the synthetics. He had just had a 7f workout at Anita in 123'3. So, I don't know what to think of the horse. Owner said he always struggled on synthetics. The drop in competition makes it even that much tougher to get a read on him. For some reason, 10f against grade 1 stuff seems to be a stretch. See, he has run a dull one on an odd surface, and a great one on an odd surface(inner track) against an odd field. He's the Wild Card.

![]() Here I speak for myself. G1-placed horse goes up against n1x winners and Inner Track hot shot (how many of these have to crash and burn before you guys get it?). Oh, and I forgot the Charles Town shipper. G1-placed horse gallops. This surprises people? Not rocket science.

Where did you pick this supposed pre-race Grade 1 horse before the race? Surely, since it wasn't " rocket science " even you were able to come up with the winner before the race. Honestly, your constantly telling people after races why winners were easy to like is laughable. Try doing it beforehand even occasionally....you might be shocked to realize how much less easy it is to do.

![]() If a horse that is GI placed is all one needs to know in order to pick the winner of a G3 stakes, we'd all be making a heck of a lot more money at this.

Come on, I did today's card on Sunday. I'm talking about Friday and Saturday that were drawn yesterday. But, yes, today's card isn't that thrilling. But, sometimes those are the cards where you seem to make the most money.
