You know, although I AM in favor of the air strikes because of my fear for this country from groups like ISIS, the thread, if you'll notice the time, was started after his address where he stated that the humanitarian air drops were underway.

Today America is coming to help as in yes, this is what we do... when people are threatened, butchered, beheaded, forced to flee their homes, hide out in the mountains in 120 plus temperatures and then starve to death or drop dead or watch their children do so due to not having water?

Damned right America SHOULD come to help.

I have been VERY critical of this President so sure... he finally makes a decision, takes a stand... yes I do applaud him.

I was pretty surprised when I woke up to find the air strikes had already begun. Honestly I thought his giving the green light meant it was on the table for some future date as an option.

Just wanted to point that out.
