I have never been to Monmouth but the place looks beauitful on tv. For those who have knowledge of the track, would it be possible for you to answer a couple of questions and add any other type of info.

1) - What is the weather like in late Oct/ealry Nov?
2) - I just read on Bloodhorse where they only have about 13,000 perm seats. They are going to rely on temp seating. So I guess they will need about 50,000 temp seats. Do you know where these seats might be located?
3) - What are the lodging options?

Gorgeous place to go in the summer. Nice track to walk around in, weather is great then, its onthe Jersey Shore. Plenty of restaurants and bars along the shore to have a few in and get something to eat.
BUt I can't see myself going to this BC. There will be nowhere near enough seating, and I'm trying to imagine the backup on the road going in and out and seeing a nightmare.
Weather in late October can be ok, but it can also be cold and windy.
I have this one on the "watch at home" list of things to do.
