In this instance, no. But a hefty participation award that say... Could help not **** over the quality of the Travers? I'm in favor of that.

You could look at it this way. All horses participating in the Big Apple Triple Bonus Points have been DQd, save one. Therefore 0 performance points for Quiet Favorite is still higher than a DQ. Quiet Favorite wins the Bonus award.
