It's a shame... a really nice guy, very classy and always a fun rider to watch when he swung wide with some horse.
The man who carried me to LAD and introduced me to horse racing, his favorite jockey was EJ, so naturally he became my favorite jockey also. To see EJ bring a 10 or 20-1 horse from the clouds and win a turf route was truly a thing of beauty. Sad to see him go so soon.
