R.I.P E.J. Perrodin

Perrodin was a staple of the Louisiana jockey colony for many years.

He rode a few for me at FG and was just a really nice guy.

Condolences to his family and friends. RIP

It's a shame... a really nice guy, very classy and always a fun rider to watch when he swung wide with some horse.

You were probably cursing him after he won the Explosive Bid on Candid Glen.

The man who carried me to LAD and introduced me to horse racing, his favorite jockey was EJ, so naturally he became my favorite jockey also. To see EJ bring a 10 or 20-1 horse from the clouds and win a turf route was truly a thing of beauty. Sad to see him go so soon.

Never ignore Tee Joe on sod or mud! Made me many dollars in my youth.

EJ was fan favorite every year signing autographs & taking pictures with folks on Super Derby Day. Hope LaD leaders name La-bred turf race in his memory.

RIP our friend...
