I will never forget a time at Keeneland when Julie Krone was on a 5/2 shot and Willie Martinez was on a 2-1 shot in a 10 horse field and I looked at the exacta will pays and the Krone/Martinez combo paid $33 and the Martinez/Krone combo paid $20. In the Vosburgh the only reason I hit the exacta is because the Henny/War Front exacta and War Front/Henny exactas paid like triple what the same exactas paid with Silver Train in place of Henny despite Henny going off as the favorite. Amazing what you can find by looking at the probables.
