Hawthorne, knocked unconscious, but OK

ESPN has the story from this afternoon. He was knocked out, but regained consciousness, and was transported to a hospital for precautionary measures. His mount was OK, but the lead horse broke down and went very wide colliding with the Fires mount. Both jocks went airborne, according to the story. The other jockey, Jesse Campbell, went to the hospital to have his arm examined. The lead horse, "Icanpersevere," was euthanized.
