I do that with the yearlings I've liked at various sales. This summer was a lot of fun because a lot of the ones I like that raced ended up breaking their maiden in their first or second start and were good bets (except Most Distinguised, but we won't go there ).

I'm really excited for the Freshman sires this year. The photos of last years Empire Maker yearlings were very nice and a few I saw in person were as well. I liked an Alderbran at the FT Sar, but I've never seen any of his other yearlings. I think the Calder sale had a few cataloged though so I'm curious to see how they sell and hopefully there will be pictures somewhere.
