The obituary that I read on Donald Patrick Joseph indicates that he had two great grandsons. One's name is Cole Edward and the other is Elijah Patrick. I thought I remembered him posting about the birth of Cole Edward and I looked back and found the post. I think this is the child in his avatar. If it's true and DJ(Bigrun) is gone, I am sorry for his family and for his friends here at Derby Trail. I will miss the friendly competition he and I had in contests and I will miss his cartoons in the politics section.

Here is a post he made about his son living in Columbia, SC.

"I've been watching that for days..My son lives in Columbia and fortunately he is not in the flood zone...has a leak in the roof and had trouble getting anyone to come out and fix it..minor problem compared to many down there...prayers to all those suffering.."

The obituary does state he had a son from Columbia, SC

This is very sad and was hoping it wasn't his obituary.
