Some of the teams that they are playing in November is embarrasing. (Jacksonville state, Western Carolina)
Florida needed a miracle to beat LA-Lafeyette at home a few weeks ago so no tears for them.
IMO Alabama is the best team in the country but they have so many built in advantages that they can't complain about the system.
IMO Notre Dame might be the 7th or 8th best team.
BUT the fact is ND has done what the system rewards and by not losing they get their chance. They are the one team that will get a fair chance to win the title. Alabama will probably beat GA and get a chance though I'm not sure that they deserve the chance more than many of the other 1 loss teams or even A & M who beat them on their home field. That is the issue that I have always had with the BCS especially when compared to the basketball tourney. Be realistic if you arent an SEC team you have to go undefeated and even then you better be from a big conference and start off the year ranked. Why have 124 Div 1 teams if only 12 (or less) have any prayer of winning the title?

7th or 8th best? Who are the 6 or 7 teams better?
