Default Never Seen This Before

I liked a horse yesterday (Wednesday), but I wasn't going to be able to watch the race live because I was travelling. So I put in my bet before I left and figured I would watch the replay on racereplays.com when I got off the road.

The horse I bet was a horse named Simmstown. He was running in a stakes race at Colonial Downs. He was #5. So I'm watching the replay and it is strictly a two horse race between Simmstown and Giant Patriot (#1). Giant Patriot holds my horse off all the way down the stretch but my horse got up in the last few jumps to win by half a length. He went off at 9-2. So it comes in 1,5. I had bet to win and place and I wanted to check the payouts. I click on the results tab and it's showing that the results came in 6,3. I'm thinking how the hell can the result be 6,3. It came in 1,5. There must be a mistake. So I go to DRF. com to see the results. The race had only been run about 25 minutes before and they didn't have the full charts up yet. But sure enough it is showing the result as 6,3 and it is showing my horse as an also-ran.

So I'm thinking there must have been a double-disqualification. Sure enough, there was a double-disqualification for interference at the start of the race. The # 5 horse broke in and the #1 horse broke out. The #2, 3, and 4 all got sandwiched at the break.

But when the hell do they disqualify you for interference at the break, let alone a double-disqualification for interference at the break? I've never seen that before in 30 years. In addition, it was a 2 year old race. You have to give 2 year olds some leeway. It's not uncommon for 2 year olds to break sideways.

I wouldn't have a problem getting taken down for this if stewards normally take down 2 year olds who break sideways, but they never do. I feel like I got robbed. It cost me about $1,600.
