Who was better than Jazil in the Belmont? Was he not the best horse in the field going 12 furlongs? So who should have won that race that would have made it less embarrassing for you?

Don't speak for me, as I am not embarrassed one bit by Jazil. For the life of me I don't know why you would be embarrassed. In fact I am heartened by the fact he is racing still and trying new things like the turf. He is a 4 YO that has started a grand total of 11 times now, yet you act as if he is some over the hill has been, or never was.

The best races are won by the best horses on that day. Who would you like to win the best races? Are there any horses that would please you?

If the entire field is made up of what you call ordinary horses, what are we supposed to do? I'll ask you again, should the Belmont have been canceled last year because they were all ordinary horses? What races have as a condition that in order to be eligible the horse must be extraordinary?

You know this was a simple thread stating that Jazil was trying the turf for the first time, but it appears that you have taken it to mean that "Jazil is one of the greats of the last ten years". You couldn't wait to jump in and denigrate the horse.

Hossy and yourself are going to be remembered for this.
