Dont let me find out that Garrett Gomez is second to only Edgar Prado for leading rider at Saratoga through Monday's card. Dont let me find out that Gomez is beating none other than John Velasquez by two wins. Dont let me find out that he is winning at a 19% clip while the great Johnny V is hovering at around 13%.

Boy...Garrett sure is getting schooled in New York. LOL

Gomez has looked pretty good on chalk today. That ride on battle chant was beautiful.

We are through 4 days of racing and 5 races on day five and Johnny V still hasnt won a race. He sure is schooling Garrett right now.

Alas, Johnny has the call on Pletcher chalk in the next three races.

Gomez already has 3 wins today and the day isn't over it.

What's so funny is that when Oracle kept ranting about how bad Gomez was about a couple of months ago, a couple of the other posters were so gullible that they suggested that it may be a good idea to just toss every horse Gomez is on because he is so bad. It was one of the funniest things I've ever heard. Gomez is probably the best jockey in the country. He is so good that horses will often improve several lengths for him. He gets more run out of horses than anyone. So you have a guy who is probably the best jockey in the country and some of these posters thought that you should throw out of all of his horses becuase he is so bad. That would almost be like saying that the US Ryder Cup team has no chance because Tiger Woods is so bad.

I wish he would have gotten #4 on Tahoe Warrior.

I backed that one, and thought that he would go to the front and stay.

I guess I was half-right....he went to the front

At this point, would it be appropriate to start referring to Gomez as "the King of Saratoga".

just wondering.

Did you hear Kenny Mayne be like "Gomez's 4th win today"

The first thing I thought of was Oracle and the 2nd thing I thought of "Is Kenny Maybe reading the board and DIGGING at Oracle"

Gomez was money in that race, great ride and positioning at the time it counts, on the stretch on the turf

I'm going to call ESPN and tell them to reprimand Kenny Mayne. He shouldn't be intentionally needling Oracle like that. It's not right.
