He was fantastic, as was Mo' Nique (sp). |

![]() In those clips of Sandra Bullock's performance, she can't even stay in the accent she's supposed to be using. I didn't see that movie. Guess it's a feel good. Would rather try the Brooklyn Cops thing.

it's an interesting year though. if they got rid of the gender concept, he might not have been nominated at all for best performance. the women are unbelievably strong this year. i don't remember there ever being a better set of nominee's top to bottom for lead actress. i can't imagine any of them losing. |

![]() I wanted to mention a performance I felt deserved a nomination. Michael Stuhlbarg was wonderful in the Coen Brother's A Serious Man. A very funny dark comedy, IMO.
