It seems like Hough and Robsham Stables are no longer together - maybe Hough retired (?) - Bruce Brown seems to have taken a bunch of them.

I was just going to ask that. He had Gold Trippi in the Gravesend last week and he's listed as the trainer for Giant Chieftan tomorrow.

I think Discreetly Mine could end up being a useful sprinter.

I'd lean towards thinking he retired. He's over 70 and I know his wife died last year. . . He had been with Robsham Racing for a while. . .

He didn't retire. They split about 4-5 weeks ago. Hough will be 62 in February.

Too early to tell what his best distance will be.

Even though he looked as if he was gasping the last furlong of the Champagne? I think he's talented, but I'm not sure he wants to go 1 step past 7 furlongs.
