Just don't bet the trotters and pacers. Art Bier and Northfield took away my pleasure in betting that sport forever.

Art Bier -- LOL, there's a blast from the past. Eventually made his way to the Meadowlands. His children are in the game now.


My brother was in a golf tournament with Art Bier once, and he said Art was a pretty nice guy in person that day.

But honest to goodness, being at Northfield for years completely cured any betting desire I might have to bet any driver in a sulky.
