![]() I GUARANTEE that if the Bulls bucked up and got him in a trade that they would go to the East finals. He is exactly what they are missing and I don't believe that hurt stuff for a minute. I understand he is getting old basketball wise but he could give them TWO years......

![]() If the Bulls had Howard from Orlando they wouldn't lose. They need a big guy in the middle that will take a double team and let our shooters, shoot.
I actually think they should trade to get Kobe, Thomas is garbage, he can't shoot, he can jump and dunk, that is it. Trade Henrich's ass with him too.....If Gordon had a big man in the middle he would be a top 8 player in the league. Side note: Joakim has played well the last couple days, but he also has zero shot |

![]() I think it's wrong to say that Shaq has nothing left. He's still got a little. Look around the league. How many centers are getting 14 and 7 a game as he is? He's nowhere close to his old dominant self but he can still be productive. If he's got some shooters around him, he can still get them some open looks and they can help to get him a little room. He's still shooting up over 55% from the field. He's not going to be anyone's leading scorer or go-to guy and if the offense has to revolve around him, you would be in trouble.
The only chance of it happening would be for Miami to bite the bullet and offer Shaq a buyout and letting him become a free agent and him being willing to take a huge paycut. This might be good for both parties though. The Heat aren't going anywhere this year. They are likely to be a top 6 lottery team and there are a few really good prospects coming out in the draft. They money they would free up from cutting Shaq lose, contract wise, could be used to try to lure an established vet or two. For Shaq, he'd get to try to go out with some dignity instead of the way things are ending now.

![]() That makes a lot of sense, King, but somehow I just wonder how he can really help anybody when his current team, with one of the stars of the league in Wade, loses basically every game. I mean, they lost at home to the Knicks for God's sake, so how much does Shaq really have? Mild numbers are deceptive and considering how the Heat is doing I wonder if he's really helpful at all.

Whoa. You must be hitting some bad peyote, Tonto. Shaq has already made out his bucket list, and thankfully, "stealing 30 million from the Bulls while on injured reserve" isn't listed. The team has fulfilled their quota of employing useless centers, thank you. Aside from the laughs he provides loyal Bulls fans with his feathery touch at the free throw line, Ben Wallace is the biggest bust of a free agent in team history. Don't expect to see Paxton getting fitted for a dunce hat any time soon by making the same mistake again. And who do you think is going to trade Kobe to the Bulls? That trade was never going to happen. That was a case of a 30 year old, multi-millionaire imbicile dragging his feet so he could delay reporting to training camp on time. Believe it or not, superstar scoring machines are hard to come by in the NBA. Teams that have them will do almost anything in order to keep them, including allowing themselves to be subjected to public ridicule, embarassment and second guessing from that player, lavishing obscenely high contracts upom them and standing by them regardless of how wrong they are during their inevitable legal entanglements, like a rape trial every now and then. Unless Isaiah morphs into the GM of the Lakers (much to the orgasmic delight of every Knick fan on the planet), no one with two brain cells firing back to back makes this trade. |

![]() I should have never posted such a crazy thought. It is just frustration that every team I cheer for has gone to ****. Lets see the checklist
1) Bears = garbage 2) SIU = garbage, can't even score FIFTY points in a game 3) Cubs = hopeful but that has been the same for 100 years 4) Bulls = beyond garbage Now lets look at my teams rivals 1) Packers = Outstanding this year although overrated 2) Creighton = rebuilding just the same but can actually make shots 3) White Sox = WS two years ago 4) Cardinals = always good with the most hilarious people 5) Detriot = always good |
