Default Street Magician

Hopefully he's the only son of Street Cry who comes skating up the rail to a Pimlico stakes victory today---as I needed him to run down Southwestern Heat for a straight exacta.

That's the third straight time Southwestern Heat has shown monsterous early speed in a row....and, interestingly enough, the 3rd straight start he's made for her dams old trainer.

I believe its the son of his dams trainer, John Salzman.

I needed the heat to hold on for a pk three, i'm a little steamed at the moment.

Well he got a little ping pong action between SWH and the rail but he got it done for you. I was kind of happy SWH got 2nd here. I adore his mama so when he places in a stakes, it's good times. Is Hirsch Jacobs still graded?

Yes, it's a Grade 3.

That exacta sure paid well. Sorry for the redboard by the way.

Awesome, so Xtra Heat's officially a graded stakes placed producer.

Are there no depths to which you won't sink these days?

It was obviously the only logical way to play that race. I'm sure you'd agree.

I completely disagree. There was no way that you could forecast SW Heat clearing the field as easily as he did and the rest of the pinhead jocks taking back on speed horses leaving SWH out on his own, then Street Magician putting together a tremendous rally to run him down late (although SWH nearly sent SM over the rail, you're extremely lucky he stayed upright because SWH would have been placed last.)
