![]() The reason for the huge fields is because of the cusion-track at
Hollywood. If you go down the PPs of the all the horses entered at Santa Anita on Saturday, you will see that 90% of the horses either ran at Hollywood or trained at Hollywood in the last months or two. There are just a lot more sound horses right now because of the cushion-track. The effect is huge. |

![]() I'm not like you guys where I'm out at the track everyday, but I remember one of the sickest cards I saw with top-to-bottom solid, wide-open fields every race, was the Smarty Belmont Stakes day card. With the exception of the Belmont Stakes itself, every other race on that card was wide-open with deep fields
