Take D Rat tries to carry her speed from the rail. Amazing Mule might get her late.

These must be horses who skiped the all weather track at hollywood park.
Looks like carryover is certain. I just hope it does not rain like last years La Brea

Scuds-Opturi

I got a stable mail for Opturi today, is he entered on this day. Did you notice that Flores got the boot and they put the Mig on him, Mig fits this horse like a glove I think

The reason for the huge fields is because of the cusion-track at
Hollywood. If you go down the PPs of the all the horses entered at Santa Anita on Saturday, you will see that 90% of the horses either ran at Hollywood or trained at Hollywood in the last months or two. There are just a lot more sound horses right now because of the cushion-track. The effect is huge.

I might not for or against a cushion track but I just wish all tracks adopt a common surface soon because it is hurting us handicappers as far as the cushion to real track angle. For example, Foxysox is entered in the La Brea tommorow on dirt. True, she ran huge on the cushion track in the Bayakoa at hollywood but that was after she ran a long string of turf races. I am just confused in how this horse will handle real dirt. probably a bet against if she is bet low.

I'm not like you guys where I'm out at the track everyday, but I remember one of the sickest cards I saw with top-to-bottom solid, wide-open fields every race, was the Smarty Belmont Stakes day card. With the exception of the Belmont Stakes itself, every other race on that card was wide-open with deep fields
