Belmont Park - July 4th
Looking at the late Pick 4 & am interested in some Comments & Critique on the following:
Race 7: # 1 - Devils Concierge # 1A - Ferocious Won - Scratched # 9 - Running Dog #10 - Air Race Race 8: # 4 - Rondo (Excluded from Pick 4) # 6 - Commentator Race 9: # 2 - Nobiz like Shobiz # 3 - Sightseeing # 5 - First Defence (SCRATCHED) # 6 - Any Given Saturday Race 10: # 2 - In the Spotlight # 4 - Sacred City (Only because I own 3% - No inside info) # 6 - Legal Tender # 8 - Behrens Band #11 - Seeking nore more #13 - Dubliner 3 x 1 x 3 x 6 = $54 Last edited by Holland Hacker : 07-05-2007 at 08:45 AM.

I'd single commentator and add horses in the last leg which could be a tricky one. . .

I am really surprised that no one likes Calculator in the 7th. His last race wasn't great, but he has run comprtitive Beyers in realtion to the rest of the field. Regardless, I believe all of these late pk 4 races are competitive today.

I think Rondo will get drilled and his morning line odds of 4-1 are an underlay. He hasnt beaten anything in any of his races (none are stakes quality), he lost to Bound Notebook, who's only run fast once and he shouldnt have had any problem beating, first time in a graded stakes going 7F in a race that'll have plenty of pace. No thanks. If Commentator gets caught up in a duel and has nothing left i'll be looking for Istan or Awesome Twist to come and pick up the pieces at juicy odds of 12-1 & 20-1.
