Default Vale Dori

Could be a new shooter out west to challenge Beholder. 121 timeform rating for her effort Wednesday. Another good one for Bob.

GloryZapper who beat Vale Dori last month runs today in a Grade 2. Granted its on Turf but at 12-1 I am taking a shot.

Lmao. Ya songbird and her 9 straight graded wins including 7 graded 1s is shaking worrying about this horse. Everything isn't about beyer speed figures.

I said makes her competitive. Songbird has never cracked a 100 and is grossly overrated, while being accomplished because of her lack of competition. When she is no better then 5th on Friday all this madness can stop.

I was corrected via PM. Songbird has run a 100 beyer once.
Super filly for sure.
Remember Close Hatches? She would have buried Songbird.

Has Songbird ever had to finish a race? I mostly see the jockey riding side saddle waving at the crowd in the finish line photos. She wins easy and still goes faster than Vale Dori.

So she's going to run faster this Friday then she has been?

It's possible. I'm betting against it, but it's not impossible. What was Beholder's top # before she blew up in the Pacific Classic last year? How about AP's top number before the BCC last year?

Vale Dori is a nice horse and can eventually develop into a true Grade 1 horse if placed in the right spots

Close Hatches was not faster than Songbird Beyerwise at age 3. She wasn't much faster at 4, either.
