![]() The 9 was a little stubborn in the 4th--but the gate crew did an awesome job. When I pay attention, I am amazed at the professionalism the gate crew at Belmont displays.
To make things sweeter--the 9 horse won at 37-1. |

![]() I've noticed they are very light on their feet. They do a great job.

![]() I've always thought that the NY gate crews were the worst. Seems like it takes forever to get them in the gate sometimes.

![]() Ok watch them load at Churchill or Calder, and then watch them in NY. It's hardly ever "smooth". I do agree that this is a very dangerous job, and kudos to those who risk their lives everyday.

![]() They make so much commotion when they're all in the gate sometimes I think Al-Qaeda is in there.

![]() It's a dangerous job and they seem slow in NY only because at "0 MTP" they are still wandering around about a furlong from the gate. If they began to actually lead them in when the clock clicks to "0" it would look like the fastest out there.
They NY guys do a good job. When you whats 3 or 4 simulcasts daily you see how bad it could be. |
