It will be interesting to see what the Beyer comes back for the winner. It's been five years since a winner of an Oaklawn Park maiden race has run a triple digit Beyer. A horse named Medeglia D' Oro won by 4.25 lengths in an Oaklwan Park maiden race in Feb of '02. Getting his 6 furlongs in 1:10 4/5ths that day, and earning a 101 Beyer

He was sold privately after that race....and was transferred from the barn of David Vance into Bobby Frankel's barn.

He made his next start in the Grade 2 San Felipe Stakes---and was dismissed at an INSANE 8.5-to-1 odds---needless to say he won easily and ran a 107 Beyer.

How on earth could a horse who had run the fastest figure in the race, and was going from Vance to Frankel, have paid $19.00!?
For Godssake at least spell the name right, DrugS.
Medaglia D'Oro.
