No Slots in KY at racetracks
 
The slots bill is dead - again.

I don't understand people who would rather choose to be broke, with no money for schools, programs, etc., than allow gambling. Bible belt.

Didn't NY Gov. David Patterson say that his decision on the VLT award for NY would be "a week or so" on like Jan 2 2010.. I know how long a week is can anyone help me with the definition of "SO" as it relates to time..

Hold on a minute. This wasn't a 'slots bill' per se. It was the David Williams-generated constitutional amendment referendum approach.

It was actually a "trick" bill in that Williams wanted a constitutional ammendment to ask for a vote of the people. The "trick" with this deal is that I believe it takes 2/3 majority to get an ammendment to the constitution which of course we all know would never pass. He is a trickster.
